Lightweight wool throw designed for Røros Tweed by Anderssen & Voll following a research project at Hancock Shaker Village in Massachusetts. The Shaker approach to making, based on economy, clarity and purposeful construction, informed the designers' thinking. That restraint is carried into Isak through a pattern that relies on order rather than decoration.

Details

Crafted from Norwegian lambswool with repeated structures woven directly into the fabric. This creates a surface where texture, pattern and colour are part of the construction itself. The weave has a quiet, tactile character, with its detail becoming clearer at close range and through touch. Each throw is woven and finished in Røros, Norway.
